Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CashBackStacks website located at cashbackstacks.com (the "Website") and the CashBackStacks browser extension (the "Extension"), collectively referred to as the "Service."

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use CashBackStacks. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

CashBackStacks is a cashback rate comparison and reward optimization service that provides:

• Rate Comparison: Compare cashback rates across 44+ shopping portals and airline/hotel reward programs
• Browser Extension: Automatically detect stores you visit and display available cashback rates
• Credit Card Matching: See which of your credit cards offers the best rewards for each store
• Watchlist & Alerts: Track stores and products, receive notifications when rates or prices change
• Hot Deals Feed: Browse current high-value cashback offers
• Card-Linked Offers Sync: User-triggered syncing capability for card-linked offer sources (Premium feature)

Important: CashBackStacks is an informational service only. We do not process cashback payments, handle transactions, or guarantee that you will receive cashback. Cashback is paid by the individual portals and institutions according to their terms and policies.

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, such as stacking personalized offers, you must sign up for a free CashBackStacks account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• All activity that occurs under your account
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one CashBackStacks account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse the referral program or circumvent limitations is prohibited and may result in account termination.

4.1 Subscription Tiers

CashBackStacks offers a free tier for everyday shoppers and a premium (paid) tier with higher/no limits and more advanced features for power users. See the plans page for details.

4.2 Free Trial

New Premium subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged.

4.3 Billing & Cancellation

Payment processing is handled by our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal accessible from your account page. Cancellation stops future charges but does not provide refunds for the current billing period.

Refunds: The 7-day free trial serves as the refund period. After your trial ends and payment is processed, no refunds are provided. You retain access to Premium features until the end of your paid period.

Users can earn free Premium days through our referral program:

5.1 Friend Referrals

• When your referred friend starts a trial: 7 days of CashBackStacks Premium
• When your referred friend becomes a paid subscriber: 30 days of CashBackStacks Premium

5.2 Portal Signup Rewards

• Top Portals: 30 days of CashBackStacks Premium
• Other Portals: 7 days of CashBackStacks Premium

All claims are subject to verification. CashBackStacks reserves the right to approve or reject claims at our discretion. Fraudulent claims will result in account termination.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Rates may change at any time without notice
• Displayed rates may not reflect real-time portal rates
• Special conditions, caps, or exclusions may apply that are not shown
• You should always verify rates on the portal's official website before making a purchase
• CashBackStacks is not responsible for missed cashback, rate discrepancies, or any other issues pertaining to the corresponding portal
• We do not guarantee that any portal will honor their advertised rates

Our affiliate relationships do not affect the rates we display. We show the actual rates from each portal as reported by our data sources. Our compensation comes from portal referral programs, not from inflating or manipulating rates.

All content, features, functionality, design, code, and trademarks of CashBackStacks are owned by CashBackStacks and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Install and use the browser extension on your personal devices

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks without written consent
• Create derivative works based on our Service

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit our data
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the referral program
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CashBackStacks shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost profits, lost cashback, or lost savings
• Inaccurate rate information or data
• Actions or policies of third-party portals, stores, or payment processors
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to CashBackStacks in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us through our contact form to attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will work in good faith to address your concerns within 30 days.

11.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court. Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.

11.4 Opt-Out

You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by notifying us in writing within 30 days of first using the Service.

11.5 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us through the contact form . We will delete your account and associated data upon request.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abuse of the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you via email (if you have an account) and/or by posting a prominent notice on this page.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
